Solid 18ct Gold Football Medal

This is a very rare opportunity to own a piece of football history! This solid 18ct gold medal is one of a variety that is traditionally awarded to match officials at major footballing tournaments.

This medallion pertains to the UEFA Cup 1991 in which inter-Milan won. A local (Sussex) FA referee Allan Gunn officiated during this event (as well as many others over the years) and as such was awarded this at the 3end of the tournament. After Allan’s unfortunate death, the medal was sold to us by his widow. 

The medallion weighs 20.52g of 18ct gold and has an Italian hallmark. It comes fully boxed in its original box and is a rare chance to own a piece of football history.
