Your Rights

You have the right to access any personal information that Body Matters Gold Ltd. processes about you and to request information about:-

  • What personal data we hold about you
  • The purposes of the processing
  • The categories of personal data concerned
  • The recipients to whom the personal data has/will be disclosed
  • How long we intend to store your personal data for
  • If we did not collect the data directly from you, information about the source.

If you believe we hold any incomplete or inaccurate data about you, you have the right to ask us to correct and/or complete the information and we will strive to do so within 4 weeks; unless there is a valid reason for not doing so, at which point you will be notified.

You also have the right to request erasure of your personal data or to restrict processing (where applicable) in accordance with the data protection laws; as well as to object to any direct marketing from us.  Where applicable, you have the right to data portability of your information and the right to be informed about any automated decision-making we may use.

If we receive a request from you to exercise anyone of the above rights, we may ask you to verify your identity before acting on the request; this is to ensure that your data is protected and kept secure.

Please let us know at the earliest should you wish to withdraw consent from us processing your data for one or more of the activities stated within the “Why & How We Use Your Personal Information” section of this policy.

Consequences of Not Providing Your Data

You are not obligated to provide your personal information to Body Matters Gold, however as this information is required for us to provide you with our Services and Products we will not be able to offer some /all our services without it.

Complaints

Body Matters Gold Ltd has a complaint handling policy and procedure in place to meet the general standards and requirements and complies with the GDPR requirements.  

Customers who request the company’s complaint policy, and associated documents. will be provided with a copy of the procedure and form within 48hrs either by email, in PDF format, and will be asked to raise their complaint in writing as soon as possible after the incident.

All complaints regarding data protection should be submitted to Body Matters Gold Ltd. in the first instance.   Every individual has the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) where they consider that the processing of personal data relating to them infringes the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or where we have breached data protection law.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
