Body Matters Gold is internationally recognised for making high-end, bespoke body jewellery, set with real gemstones and diamonds. Using only precious metals - gold, platinum and silver. All body jewellery is hand-crafted in the BMG Jewellery workshops, UK.

Below you will find examples of bespoke body jewellery that we have crafted for both local and international customers. The bespoke jewellery and body jewellery shown in the click-throughs are made personally for you to your exact specification.

THE PROCESS

Once we have your inquiry our team can get to work - first point of call is to discuss what it is you want. We specialise in high-end jewellery ranging from, engagement rings to eternity rings, to necklaces to earrings. Other bespoke jewellery we can make for you includes: nose studs, labret studs, piercing rings and nipple bars.

Next we work out a price for the jewellery. This could be an accurate quote or a selection of different options making sure the piece is affordable. We will always go through with you the best options for your budget - whether than means using platinum, white gold, or even silver..

Our in-house team of designers, goldsmiths and gem setters pride themselves on their craft and will work with you to create a beautiful, unique jewellery pieces to your specification or designed by us from scratch.

People often assume that the custom made option is just too expensive, and they don’t realise that it doesn’t need to cost the earth. Others simply just don’t know where to begin. All it takes is an idea, and it can evolve into a truly beautiful piece of bespoke jewellery.

All you need is the initial idea. This can be based on a similar item of jewellery, or come from something that has inspired you or just a great idea that you have had. Once you have the idea we will discuss this with you, and go through all of the possibilities with you.

The next step is the design. We will come up with some great design ideas with you, and refine these until you are completely happy. You will then be given preliminary quotes for your body jewellery. Once a design is decided upon, a final quote will be issued.

A 50% deposit will be taken before work starts, and the remaining 50% will be taken on completion.

We then move on to making your bespoke jewellery. All of the raw materials needed will be either ordered in or manufactured on site. The designing and making takes on average 4-6 weeks from start to finish.

Recently, a customer came in with an interesting idea. The custom made piece includes three 9ct yellow gold rings, which are accompanied by three stunning 10pt diamonds. The ring can be arranged in a variety of ways and for further occasions other rings can be added. This is a unique ring for a great customer. Simply Beautiful!

2ct Diamond Ring. Made for Carol a local customer who loves her diamonds. Carol has quite a collection of bespoke rings by us now, and loves to change the style and update them regularly. This particular ring is made from 18ct white gold using a single carat centre diamond with a half carat either side. The edge is a mill grain finish.

Perfect eternity ring to finish this gorgeous wedding set. Wishbone white gold ring made with the customers old gold set with Amethyst, Grape Garnet and Emeralds

Celtic Crown Wedding Ring. Made on CAD for Karen and Izzy a couple from near Milton Keynes. Designed on CAD and 3D printed - Karen wanted her ring to have a never ending pattern laid onto gold.

Celtic Script Engraved Gold Ring. Doug, a Burgess Hill local popped this ring into our shop wanting an engraving across it. It is his wedding band and he wanted a Celtic script across it, with this cross symbol in between each name of his family members.

Wedding set remodelled with clients old ring and using the sapphires and diamond for the centre stone, in platinum

The engagement ring was cast in 18ct white gold, with a 7.4 x 6.41mm cushion cut Sapphire. With a 35pt Diamond set either side, all held in 4 claws.

Here is a set of Platinum wedding bands. Her's is a horseshoe to sit between the engagement ring set with 6pt diamonds and his is a heavy weight band set with a 3.5mm princess cut Aquamarine

This diamond ring was 3D printed and designed with CAD to produce this clear resin print as seen below. This allowed us to show the customer the ring and get her approval.

Varying diamond sizes were used and set unevenly to create a kind of wiggle design.

This orange ring was made in rose gold, to really make this gemstone pop. The colour really compliments the stone. Claws were used to hold this stone and enhance its fragmented shape. A split shank band was used to create these openings either side of the stone.

These infinity rings were custom made and designed for a couple recently, who wanted a pair of rings to mark an anniversary.

Made to be worn on the thumb these rings contain 30pt diamonds at the centre and 3pt diamonds going around the shank for maximum sparkle. Gold has been used to make the diamonds really stand out.

This beautiful ring was made using clear and coloured flush set diamonds set in platinum.

This ring has a stunning glow of a range of vibrant colours when caught in the light. The stones are scatter set on the custom made band.

This works very well for this happy customer.

This was an interesting project for a regular customers wedding band. Having searched shops, Jewellers and the internet for something unique, he came into the shop with a picture of something along these lines.

Using silver, copper and gold with a rough finish, hand made by Barnaby King he was bowled over with the result.

Requested by a local customer he wanted a ring shaped like a Lilly filled with three fresh water pearls. Quite a beautiful concept that Barnaby King designed . This gentleman was delighted with the ring created for his wife.

Custom Made Belly Bars

40pt Diamond Belly Bar. Paired with a 10pt diamond top ball.

Hand made in 14ct White Gold, the main stone is Amber and the central stone is a Cabochon Ruby.

A 14ct White Gold Belly Bar, inspired by the birth of the clients child. Set with a trio of gemstones: Yellow, Purple & Blue Sapphires which represent the month the child was born, a truly special memento to keep and treasure forever.....

This Top Dropper Belly Bar is set with four Black Diamonds set in 14ct Nickle Free Yellow Gold.

We had a customer asking for an engraved belly bar with initials overlapping - so we sent this off to be engraved with black set in it to make it stand out against the white gold.The initials were engraved on a flat faced half ball to still keep the conventional look of a belly bar.

Emerald and Diamond Belly Bar. This belly bar was made from the head of an old emerald ring which was then set onto a gold belly bar. We found a new stone for the bottom and also put a matching emerald on the top ball.

Flower Belly Button Bar with 42pt Diamond. In yellow gold, with a large 42pt VS1 diamond at the centre.

Paradox Belly Stud. White metal belly stud with pink and blue stones.

A large Rose Garnet (Rhodalite) Belly Bar set with six Diamonds.This UK based customer was given this stone as a gift and wanted it made into a belly bar.The bar is on a hinged joint allowing movement and placement for the piercing.

This novelty Belly Bar was made in 18ct Yellow Gold and is set with a Diamond.

Custom Made Earrings

A lovely looking pair of Tricolour Earrings.

Based on a well loved pair of costume earrings a local lady owned, she commissioned us to hand make a similar pair of earrings using solid gold with clip on backs.

Cabochon Sapphire Earrings in Yellow Gold. Made as a birthday present - these earrings made use of some of the lovely gemstones we have available in our workshops.

These earrings were made for a lady who wanted a pair of classic diamond earrings. We used a claw setting for maximum sparkle around the diamond.

The scroll backs on these earrings have a white gold backing set on them, with engraving on it stating the metal type.

Diamond and Garnet Earring. Six garnet gemstones claw held in a flower design. With a central diamond stone, sat on a white gold base.

Double Looped Earring. This dangle earring combines two yellow gold hoops, on a stud fitting.

Hammered Earring. This handmade earring has been textured to create this design, with a small diamond set in the middle to add some sparkle.

Hand Holding Earring. This white gold earring has been shaped to look like two hands held together, as a meaningful piece of jewellery for a customer.

A set of simple earrings in 9ct White Gold made to order, using Tsavorite gemstones and Rubies. These compliment the customers existing jewellery, using screw on backs to ensure safety.

Yellow Gold Fish Earring. This single earring was made for a Burgess Hill customer, made in yellow gold with a ruby set in the eye.

Twisted Yellow Gold Hoop Earring. Combining a hoop earring with a stud backing so it sits neatly in the ear. Two sections of wire have been wrapped around each other to make this design.

Peach Sapphire Labret Earring. Oval peach sapphire set in a rose gold with metal balls soldered on around the stone.

14ct white gold rose thorn labret stud

Tanzanite Heart Shaped Labret. This deep Tanzanite stone has been set in a rub over setting in 18ct yellow gold.

Triple Diamond Flat Backed Stud. This stud was designed for Wynn as a tragus earring. On white gold with metal connecting all of the diamonds together.

Custom Made Nose Studs

Window Pane Nose Stud. Made in 18ct rose gold, this nose stud was designed on CAD for Lee. There are 4 x 1.5mm VS1 Diamonds set in the nose stud, and the stud has a cone shaped back to allow the stud to sit flat like our other nose studs.

5 Diamond Claw Nose Stud. We made this nose stud for Tara, who wanted an update of one of our other custom made nose studs. She wanted a cross between a claw set nose stud and one with 5 diamonds.

The nose stud is made from 18ct white gold, with one 10pt diamond at the centre. Then two 6pt and two 3pt diamonds either side.

In 22ct Yellow gold and set with a 1pt Diamond.

This custom made nose stud is a twist on our conventional flower nose stud. Using a rose gold base/tail we have set multiple colours of gemstone in this stud. With a black diamond at the centre.

This pair of Amethyst BCR earrings were commissioned as a gift, made in 14ct White Gold.

Custom Made Plugs & Tinnels

18ct diamond studded flare 12mm or 1/2" inch

We make quite a few of these in various forms - this is a basic format using just 8 1.2mm diamonds. The metal is rolled into a thin strip before preparing the edge blades.

Black Diamond Plug. The black diamond is the star of the show on this plug, the surrounding metal is a simple polished white gold.

Clockwork Style Plugs. White gold plugs with clockwork and cogs from an old watch set at the centre. For a unique steampunk look.

Diamond Wheel Style Plugs. These yellow gold plugs feature the classic 'spokes' of a wheel design, with a large diamond studded at the centre. Smaller diamonds sit at the end of each spoke, on the outer edge of the plugs.

This was made as a pair using matching heart shaped emeralds and a small diamond.The base cylinder has been capped with a flat plate on the front and back. The back plate screws into the cylinder.These where made for a USA customer

Volkswagen Logo Plug Earrings. These plug earrings feature a white gold cutout volkswagen logo in an open acrylic plug.

White and Rose gold BBS RS alloy wheel plugs

I Do Ear Tunnels. These tunnels were made for a customers wedding day. A simple acrylic tunnels with cutout white gold laid over the top.

A Roony Mara look. The set was put together as drawings and refined to Zoe's style using 14ct nickel free white gold. The tunnel being the main piece set with thorns on the inside and outside.

Platinum eye pendant set with 2mm diamonds and 3mm vivid blue sapphire

Arrowhead Style Pendant. Silver pointed pendant with a small ruby at the top just below the necklace loop.

Internet customer commissioned us to make this basic, silver Batman Pendant. Also, set with a Diamond, for a very happy fan.

One of our customers bought in some old, sentimental jewellery to be remade into various pieces of jewellery for her children.

Here we have some rounded square cuff links with two diamonds set in the corners. All made from silver.

Dual Metal Cross Pendant. This yellow and white gold cross pendant was made by Barney for a local reverend who wanted something a little more special to wear during his services.

A Local Landscape Gardener commissioned 2 pendants for his wife. Two peas in a pod and one pea in a pod. These represent him and his wife and there child.

Made from silver these took a couple of hours to make. We managed to find some silver balls for the peas cutting down the making time. The result was really nice. Quite interesting to look at and everyone that did just smiled.

3mm Ruby pendant with an articulated bail set with tiny diamonds

Pink Tourmaline Pendant. This white gold pendant pairs three pink tourmaline gemstones with a number of small diamonds. All set on a white gold base.

Rose Necklace Charm. This white gold, rose pendant hangs on a simple chain and is plated to create this black detailing inside.

A more individualised, commission of an initial pendant. Includes an italic designed D with a small selection of diamonds to form a intricate star. All designed in close contact with the customer for a heavily personalised piece.

Silver Wire Dachshund Pendant. Barney took an image of a similar pendant as inspiration. We printed a template scaled to size, and Barney hand bent silver wire around this to create the Dachshund shape. the loop for the chain has been hand shaped and all of the white metal is one continuous piece of wire.

Yellow Gold Dog Tooth Necklace. This dog tooth has been moulded into a yellow gold pendant to hang on a chain.

Custom Made Nipple Bars

Front Facing Diamond Nipple Bar. Plain yellow gold nipple bar, with a front facing diamond on each ball.

Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Nipple Pin. This nipple pin was designed for Rooney Mara in 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' the producers wanted a safety pin style - that wasn't too slick and polished.

Pearl Nipple Dangle. This nipple chain was made from the customers existing jewellery, using her chain and also pearl. Two diamonds were added on a section of white gold - to match the chain. And this section is flexible for added comfort. The dangle just slots onto the nipple bar so its easy to put on and remove.

Victorian nipple ring with emeralds and diamonds

A customer wanted us to create a Victorian looking circular barbell from one of her Grandmother's old rings. A design was sketched out and the job was completed. Alison picked it up the next morning and was delighted to get an antique effect BMG head goldsmith Barnaby King used 3 methods of plating including a black rhodium, which after applying was polished off leaving a blackening on all of the low points, giving the piece an aged look. The piece is made from 18 carat yellow, white and rose gold.

Custom Made Female Genital Jewellery

14ct white gold vertical clitoris hood barbell.The bottom ball is internally threaded and the shaft is shaped to the anatomy of the owner. The flower head is smooth backed giving comfort. Set with 8 x 2point diamonds and a good quality cornflower blue Sri Lanka Sapphire.

Designed and made via email for a regular German customer. This is a 18ct white gold Vertical Clitoris Hood decoration.

The top diamond and bottom diamond are good quality half carat stones with 3 smaller stones on the dangle. All of the stones have rounded backs to make them comfortable to wear. The top diamond is internally threaded for security.

This piece is quite a statement and should be insured for around £9000 UK pounds.
